Fall Bucket List

7:05 AM

Seasons - I love them in particularly I love Fall (like all bloggers do). I also love lists, bucket lists mainly. I love planning things to look forward to and documenting it all along the way.

1. Go the the fair
Since it is so hot in south Louisiana the state fair runs through the end of October to the beginning of November. Growing up on a farm and attending the county and state fair every year is something I truly miss so I can't wait to check it out at the end of the month. Fair food, need I say more?

2. Haunted houses
I grew up going to haunted houses and trails and love them! The best one I ever went to was when they turned the old hospital in my county into a haunted hospital - talk about freaky but so awesome. Growing up in the midwest surrounded by woods and fields, haunted trails were set up and they were the best. I haven't been to a haunted house in a few years because Drew doesn't like them but I think I have him convinced to check one out this year and I can't wait!

3. Carve pumpkins
This is always a must, no description necessary.

4. Family photos
A couple of years ago Drew got me a wonderful Nikon D3200 camera and I hate to admit it but we don't use it to its full potential. We decided to buy a wireless remote so we can take our own family photos. To be continued...

5. Scary movie marathon
The weekends where you just stay in and relax are some of my favorites. Drew and I are serial bingers when it comes to TV shows and movies. We will definitely be having a scary movie marathon and I may sneak in a little Halloweentown. < -------- Does anyone remember that Disney  Channel Original, classic!

What's on your fall bucket list this year? Let me know!

  1. Ahhh you are making me miss haunted houses. There was a house in my neighborhood that went ALL OUT. They eventually had to move it to the fairgrounds because it got so big. And then there was always one in the town nearby that was ridiculously scary, especially with the chainsaw man at the end! Now I really want to go to one. :)

  2. I just finished writing my date ideas for fall and it includes so many of these! I just love carving pumpkins and watching some "scary" aka not so scary movies as well :)
